It was a constant slow flow of sell orders coming in all day long; I wouldn't expect extreme readings on either TRIN or TICK. Also VIX wasn't up as much as u would expect with such a decline, and that's because was a trendy decline not a sudden fall. That's my opinion, of course.

U are much better off than me: I am using a Mac OS X 10.3.9 ibook with RAM upgraded to 768MB. Processor: 1.2 Ghz PowerPC G4 and my CPU is always maxed when running TWS: the applet is responsible for 90-98% of the usage. I don't know what to do to get around the problem and I think I have to...

im still bullish on goog. could easly rise 50% this year. nothing has changed on company's fundamentals panic selling and speculation is causing the steep decline. still, even tho convinced goog won't meet expectations on report... all already priced in imo.

Book trader by default allow u to enter one single order clicking on a line bid (buy) or (ask) sell; if u want to close your position u click on the desired price in the booktrader. If u want to place a bracketed order u need to configure booktarder with the desired offset amount.

I trade with an aapl ibook G4, RAM upgraded recently to 768MB and clear through IB. The CPU is always maxed when TWS is running and performance has deteriorated dramatically lately. I'd like to know if anyone else here is using ibook and trading with IB and has experienced similar problems...
