    Bucket Shop Arbitrage

They are introducing to FxSol. Since you obviously are a gcpfx rep, can you explain why they didn't even manage to register as an IB ?

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

I have to apologize for raping your wonderful language, i'm not a native English speaker, i'm sure your foreign language skills are just as impeccable as your trading, and i can not, once again, compete on that level. So do you really, like you said, invariably trade out of all losing...

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

deaddog: for mere mortal traders that sounds like a sensible thing, i do the same. For trading-gods like cable, who INVARIABLY trade out of all loosing positions, that is not necessary.

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

That blotter looks stubborn. It MUST go up at some point, right? How did you determine that it AUD is a buy today anyways. Looking at the chart, you probably could have done the same thing on the short side (making the position 'cheaper' until its finally in profit). Do you use martingale or...

BPTrader: cabletrader officialy resigned from his Oanda-shillment ship some time ago (jpy fiasco, if i remember right). I'm the official oanda shill here nowadays.

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

Godammit, go to sleep and leave my moments to me. Don't you ever have a down day? Post it! P.S.: should have known better than arguing with cabletrader, i just lack the posting stamina for this.

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

You must mistake me for someone else (URL!), i usually am able to read a timestamp. I don't like your blotters because you only post the good moments, but never the bad ones (i understand from your previous posting they happen now and then). A bit like the selective reporting of the shills...

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

I'm not talking about fixed anything. The only thing i use is a hard stop, at the level where the trade doesn't make sense anymore. I'd probably blow up trying to *invariably* trade out of all loosers. That day eur/usd retraced just barley enough that you could get out on ~break even, then...

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

Who said i have a problem? I just thought its odd, but there is no point in discussing this since i don't know what you are doing. If you were a simpleton like me, putting on individual trades, then it does matter if it goes too small at some point(i.e. 2 pip gain vs. >40 pip stop). Then...

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

I didn't think the stop distance per se was odd, rather the drawdown you are willing to take in a position in relation to your usually small gains. Wide stops/bad RR means small tradesize to me. But if its all part of a bigger plan like you say, i guess there is no point in looking at this trade...

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

cabletrader: at what level would you have cut your losses on that eur/usd trade? Personally i could never trade this way (not with any kind of size anyways).

    5 Golden Rules of Trading

There appears to be a fierce competition between mark04 and the drain-the-banks-dude for the biggest "duh"-moment on elitetrader.com. My money is still on avery.

    so is this true?

If you read other sections of this board, you will find that this sort of traders do exist in all asset-classes, not only f/x. They whine about changes in tick-increments on futures, and if its not the increments its 'the algos', and if its not the algos its GoldmanSachs being totally unfair...

    so is this true?

I have never had an outright cheat as well. Clueless customer support or technical incompetence sure(you will find these in futures firms as well), but i never got filled on a price that didn't check out against a 3rd party source, or any thing of this sort. Somehow i doubt your problem is...

Most Respected and Reliable Forex Broker

Looks like Broco offer CFDs, not futures. Besides, personally i would have mental problems sending any kind of dough to russia. Over there, the rule of law only applies to the 'well connected'.

Most Respected and Reliable Forex Broker

Yes, IB offers more instruments, but the question was about spot FX, nothing else. I said small accounts, because if you want better commissions than IB on pro-platforms like currenex you have to do significant volume, and that wont be possible with a 10K account.

Most Respected and Reliable Forex Broker

In my opinion, for smaller accounts Interactive Brokers or Oanda. There is no reason at all to pay more than at these 2 firms. I'm not aware of another broker, that takes on small accounts and can compete with them. There is also Dukascopy, but those guys are too strange for my taste. Or...

    A creative charts solution

Your wtf-candle appears to be sunday candle. Its not necessarily an error. Daily charts often look very different because in a 24-hour market like FX it does matter what timezone you use to break the daily candles. A daily chart based on GMT looks different to a chart based on EST. Then some...

Free Historical and Real-Time Tick-by-Tick Data

Had a look at the demo today. Its really nicely done. Spreads are good (seem to be even tighter than on the website sometimes), its got a marketdepth display, lots of ordertypes, easy orderentry and a really convenient visual chart-trading feature. But if the other firms are going to...
