    that scenario of yours is not reflective of what I am seeing. Very illiquid market, bids and asks very rarely move if ever. Yet fills happen in the mid. that's my question - how are those trades being lifted?

    Placing bur=y orders on the bid and sell orders on the ask price - without much success. I can see trades happening in the mid. But I thought that hidden orders were not permissible with options. How are those trades happening?

    no it's fair - they assume that you read the small print like everyone else. On the other hand, why pay them $1,020 per year wen Firstrade is free across the board? Hell, I am now learning that Schwab gives you free option trading as well if your account is of a decent size.

    And whati What is the SPIC coverage in banana republic? Let alone account segregation, liquidation waterfall or regulatory oversight. We have a Bahamas in Europe - it is called Cyprus. Only very shady Fx and crypto brokers are left there.
