Well I just did a dick move...!:eek: I logged out and then logged back in... Scalped 5 lots for a $100 winner in the Combine... I forgot that the sim switches accounts when you log off... guess I'm in Combine for the day.... Trades in both accounts... 3... winners 3 losers 0...

Everybody wants to know how I did yesterday... I finished down -$695.00. Every trade was a loser... Three straight up stop outs and one that I cut before it hit its limit... I'm not trading in the Combine today... I'll be trading in the "not reviewed" account... and trying to answer 2...

I got killed on ES that's what happened... Simulator is easier than real money, much easier... Today I just got caught up in that crappy zone and I got killed. I'm a scalper... I'm not going to do anymore scalps... I think I'll just stick with position trades so less trading...

Pretty much all of them traded crude... Vulgar99 made enough today in FX to beat the combine...! Nice... :D A few of them (like Auctionere let's say) are actually under "practice not reviewed" so they're not in Combine...

Shorting the Euro... 1 lot @ 1.3065 SL @ 1.3088... TP 1.3015 About that time of the day when Euro should sell off... Let's see if it happens.

The contract month on that is Oct. 12 right...? Just making sure...

I suppose I could have gone short with a really loose stop... Housing starts came out slightly better than expected but worse than the previous number... I was expecting a short. What if I went short... AND then the market rallied to a big stop loss...??? With the long I did I...

Have a look at this chart... If you played with tight stops you probably would have lost... If you played with loose stops... You probably would have lost... Doesn't matter which way you went... You would have lost! The only way you would have won is if you predicted that it would turn...

Your post about the "edge" is spot on... I had a real physical edge in the NYSE maket as well working for a prop firm... that disappeared when the Specialist became computerized... Now it's all about position trading for long swings... Here is the contradiction... If I do what I did...
