    thoughts on commissions in futures

Why do people just don't believe me? Even when I post a losing trade, I need to post some form of evidence that I actually did. Unbelievable.. Posting a thread on "Market Monk" I was accused of being the MM, and they shut that thread down. And now.. marketsurfer.. ah.. f*k it...

    thoughts on commissions in futures

I am on pace to do at the very least 5,000 RTs on YM per month. Currently I pay $ 4.82 per RT, and I know it is a bit high. Let me get this straight, by switching to CQG Trader, I would only have to pay $0.26 per RT?

If Chewy Loses Money in July - He Will Quit Trading

Chewy... You have to lose money to be able to make money. F*K the naysayers. I started off with 30K and came to my very last dollar... and I just increased my size ten fold for July.. (Yes.. 1 to 10 contracts) and I had the 2nd biggest day ever in my trading life on last Friday, when...

    Market Monk's Trading Monastery

I mean, reading that Blog, Market Monk is a very experienced market participant. And it is also true that you have to be focused on one market at all times. Take one market and learn everything about it, and hold a position at all times. Since he has a winning method, it is only natural...

    stop losses are for loooosers

Yeah, I would never let it get there. I try very hard to keep my "Holding-onto-a-Loser Time" to a minimum. Each extra minute you hold onto a loser is a minute wasted to get in on a winner. Just like everything else, stops depend on what kind of a trader you are and your position relative to...

    GOOG Powerful

I almost thought about putting all my money I had into GOOG, but having to fill out way more information about myself, and contacting brokerage house etc... made me discouraged with going forward with it. I also thought $85 was a bit too much more than what I had in my mind. My net worth...

    Ibuprofene Short Selling?

I am sure those in the know already shorted it (Efficient Market Theory) and thus it is already discounted for. Since you don't know which companies to short, I don't think it would be a worthwhile proposition for you to go forth with this.

    60 point dow ymu5 dip

Maybe big money knows something we don't... Anyway.. I am just amazed that it would only take that many contracts to move 50 or so points on the YM.

Taking Profits & Letting it ride...

Where do you draw the line? Because today was a range day, and if I took +$50 profit targets, I would've had +$300 or something. But, I ended up letting profits ride and ended up with a -$ 185 loss. That is sad because I had some good trades today, only that there were no follow through...
