It sucked me in completely... I lost a bundle trying to stay my ground. :( Met my profit target around noon, and nothing was happening and I shouldn't even be trading. Then I felt, FOMC meeting is next Tuesday, and there is that uncertaintly of a rate increase due to increasing inflation...

What a day... rockets up and plumments down.. And I just left $2000 on the table...

It was a horrible "Movement Against Equity" trade. But, I got out at 10713 with 15 cars, at 15:17:41 pm. With $52 bucks as well. :)

It goes down faster, but for some reason I feel more comfortable going LONG. I also have a higher win% on my longs.

And I mean that even on a day when we go down -100 pts.

haha.. All I do is go long... Total trades: 13 Long trades: 11 Short trades: 2 a short is a rarity for me...

I forget about stops when I'm scared... This is a scary trade, because I don't see it... I just don't see it going down. And I am betting that I am wrong. (Its a 70% strategy).

Up 70 pts from the lows, but you know what? It can still go up 70 more. And that would be bad.

There is only one day difference between Dec and Sept contracts. And the point difference is 40 pts. Isn't that a bit too much for just one day difference? Could it be due to people selling to get out of Sept. which causes it to decline in value, while Dec. goes up due to accumulation?

So it can be summarized that on the contract switch over date, there will be a gap up. And prices will subsequently fill it during the market hours.
