This method is not as accurate in a trend. I would have gotten caught on that one to. I have been using this for years and still that one would have gotten me.

Sandy, Sorry, I had to go out and take care of patients. So, to your question. Yes, I just tend to keep my charts on 24hr. Soemtimes I get up in the night and I'll come in and check them. Don't really do much with the off hrs though so it is more decoration than anything.

Using the BB's you would have gone long at 9:00 right about the time institution buying kicked in. I don't use the pre market for much at all. That is why I didn't care that it went up to 69.25. Ya like that...I used to scalp the Q's using nothing but this method on a daily chart. Probably the first method I ever used successfully. While I was studying on S/R. I have these 2 methods down to a tee,now...At least I think I do anyway. 4re

On the 3 minute chart it looks like we are forming a continuation pennant. It should be busting out shortly. 4re

If you will look at your 15 minute chart your entry was perfect for the bollinger band theory as well. I just took my 69 long and got out with 1.5 points. Looking at the volume it looked like we were losing some momentum. At least for now and I gotta run here pretty soon. Good job. I was going...

I think so as long as we can clear those needles between 62.50 and 61.50. Might just go for 1.5 points on though. I would really like to jump up today though and get my 69 long. I think we are due for it anyway...

Good luck with it. But that should get your entry right if you are doing breakouts and not reversals.
