Did your firm attempt a waiver for you? My 7,63,55 were also lapsed a few years ago, but my firm requested a waiver and it was approved.

Got my waiver today. Fwiw my 7, 63, 55 were all expired, but I guess they took into account experience. So relieved!

These tests have nothing to do with trading for a living, but if you must go ahead and buy all the study materials and spend a year of your life learning back office stuff that you will never need. Fwiw I took/passed the 7, 63 & 55 and they were a complete waste of my time.

I'm sure some hft's are trading buy/sell programs (index arb) and those orders do move the markets. An article a couple years ago quoted an hft owner saying their average trade was around 10 secs if I remember correctly.

Odd lots are illegal for prop firms but not retail accounts. This law was because people were taking advantage of auto execution of odd lots ahead of other orders. It was maybe 5-7 years ago.

Considering she's one of the few profitable futures traders ever to grace ET I would listen more and talk less.
