I would never use excel for anything: - too unreliable! Using something like Ensign ($40 a month) is much better alternative.

I use exp (2.728287...) for my smoothing factor. It works slightly better.

I pay appr. $120 a month with all the services I get on it. But, of course, you are right; you can get it for much lower price if you are satisfied with the basic service.
