Had 300 bucks with 45 mins to go, so im pretty pleased with the result, even though its not a great day. Couldnt get anything going all day, and systems outages never help.

One of those "if you throw enough mud against the wall some of it will stick" kind of days. Didnt trade particularly well, but avoided almost all losses, no retard mistakes, and overall a good total. Should be more, but this is above recent average for me so ill say im happy.

Well 43.7% is on the portion above 113k. Its a banded system. first 8k free, 8-20k or something is around 22%, and then goes up from there. 113k is not taxed at the full rate...

AFAIK 43.7% is the highest bracket and that starts at about 113k/ year. Base tax starts after about an 8k deduction, and starts at about 22%. Vancouver is expensive to me because i live on the island, so i cant really compare that end for you, but i know people that rent and they pay around...

Very patient today. Waited for decent oppourtunity to trade and my ratio reflects less churning. Got hit for 560 with about 20 mins to go and couldnt get it back. A little more risk aversion and i wouldnt have lost much. Overall im satisfied.

quickly looking at yahoo i see lots of up and downgrades today. I dont understand how there are these restrictions then.
