Depends on the firm. If your 100% prop (someone elses money) and doing intraday scalping, the reality is you are a statistic at most places, and they really dont care about you as an individual. They know x% suceed in 6 months, and that is their entire business plan.

No, but i do always see shave prints like that. Anyone who actually knows would be great. Some awesome fills out there in between the spread, i refer to them as 'magic prints'.

Not good, missed all of that sell off. ECN fees got messed up today so its more like 750 or 800.

Sucked today. Keystroke errored for 400 early and couldnt recover. Have new trainees this week too, so they will undoubtedly distract me for a while to come.

Decent day today. +1460 on about 230k shares, 1300 gross. Really working on those credits recently, and they are starting to make a material difference. Sorry, no blotter had meetings after hours.

I think the answer is yes, everyone gets access to the data. The part i was trying to clarify is that no one is going to put an arca auction order on a liquid nyse stock because they would get a worse fill. In the past, people have thrown huge orders on NYSE and AMEX stocks both in the morning...

Arca auction is not for nasdaq on teh close... never seen one ever. Arca open auction for nasdaq is uselss, the fill is at the midpoint of the opening spread. GE is never on the opening cross because you could just send the order to the specialist instead and it would be more liquid.

Its pretty straight forward, just read the info about it, and make sure you open the Java version, and select the correct auction.

Traded first hour on 1 platform, then tested another... probably just going to be on sterling from now on.

In Chapter 5, there is a table displayed of values that a stock can freely trade at auto quote/execution before a slow market LRP point is triggered. I dont understand what the 2 values in the table are for, and what the top 2 rows are referring too. Are the top rows referring to 4mill +...

Pretty much the exact same day as yesterday. Took my time cause it was slow in the morning, made a bit off the fed, and caught a lucky fill here and there. My goal today was $765 and it took me till about 3:55 to break that total, best month in several...

Not too upset, Pre fed normally sucks balls. Although its not like im going to hit any homeruns tommorow :/ Ill take it.
