I'd love to see a what a 'great trader' could do simply trading 1 contract of either the miniGold or miniSilver...hmmm...would be really interesting...start with either a $183 or $304 daytrade margin....and even scale up in contracts...what could you do?...is not the miniSilver with the $183...

one more thing...mini Gold has an average daily range of about 21.00 and mini Silver about .600...so, plenty of space for a mini Gold or Silver trader to make very good cash...just palladium for thought :p

I agree...I really only look for one, at most two, trades per day when trading the mini Gold or mini Silver. For me, trading either of these is just 'practice' until ready to rock on the large Gold and Silber contracts...

I find no motivation, challenge to papertrade at all as it DOES NOT simulate real trading conditions...better to trade low margin contracts that can be considered 'practice'...

forgot to mention...I do not know about you but...the daytrade margins for mini gold ($304) and mini Silver ($183) are flat out...great!!!...again, great to 'practice' on...

hmmm...it's about 2-6 ticks at anytime but, I've found it really does not matter it your looking for +3 points in the mini Gold or .050 to .100 in the mini-silver...then, it doesn't really matter the spread. You cannot scalp it but you for sure can trade for profit if wanting gains larger than...

trading today... -4.5 mini-Gold +.053 mini-Silver ...held Gold too long and exited Silver too early...
