That's a good question, and I think there isn't an answer for it know. The problems are usually solved when they arise, not before.

I have a long-term question. Staying in the U.S. is very patriotic and so on. But moving some manufacture to Mexico would make Ford's cars cheaper and therefore more competitive. Now after their decisions they gonna need to come up with some new ideas on how to make their cars competitive.

Apart from the post above, I have to admit that no matter what he offered to Ford in exchange it's still pretty awesome that they stayed.
