# I think you missed the point. Looking at a chart, even without price, and being able to see how it played out is is very easy to say "entering chop", "go flat here" when you get to see the next bar or in your example, multiple bars.

I respectfully disagree. You may be able to outperform your automated system by manually over-riding it's signals but there are other issues to consider. I use automation to monitor / enter / exit multiple markets, more than I could ever devote my full attention to in real time. And lazy...
