misunderstood that disclaimer: "...NetPicks will not trade every position mentioned so results and performance can be considered hypothetical based on simulating results..." The disclaimer says only and that's how I understand it, that they do not take all the trades, perhaps none at all...

ES: 8 trades (4 times 2 contracts), 41 pts, all winners. I used to shoot just like you. Got tired... I am now testing a cooler approach. Also paper traded only, but with a decent margin for slippage, could have scored more points if held longer.

'Banal' is a pretty international word, I would guess of French origin, exists in other European languages as well. It should be used more frequently, but that's just an aside remark. Yes, SierraChart is very good, I use it too.

Why do you want to test your trading setups on intraday data? If they work on daily data, they should also work on intraday data, right? Otherwise I would not consider them good enough, that is not realiable enough. Some patterns are universal, they occur in any time frame, testing them for one...
