    Why oscillators dont really work...

Even simpler systems can be profitable... I don't mean to say that yours is complex, but 6 rising bars in a row is a relatively rare occurence.

    I hate those trend days.

Well, I am really sorry... I promise to work on this...:D

    Corallus' ES Journal - December

Great, some people were teasing me today about my 9 pts. As everyone can see it here, it was possible. I am glad you did not make it 'too simple'... Stick to what works as evidenced by empirical data of Natalie and Mike. Their method works.

    I hate those trend days.

No, only 13 pts today... not that bad.

    I hate those trend days.

Yes, I keep it secret also because if I revealed it, you would simplify it... and that I could not stand.:D On the other hand, one of my really simple systems will soon be available to the public in one way or another. You will then be able to see if some of the statements I made on this...

    Why oscillators dont really work...

or any book on TA, say 'Trading for a living' by A. Elder. That should be enough to inform you that the real use of oscillators is in their divergences. Of course, that does not mean they are 100% predictive, but nothing is.

    sierra chart synchronization problem

I don't have problems like that. You may be running too many programs that slow your computer down that much. Other than that, I really don't know what it could be. Try running fewer programs, add more memory, optimize your system, etc.

9 pts in ES..., that's my target.

Too bad, you just missed 9 pts on the way down...:)

And a steep learning curve too...:D I own it, but I do not find it very user-friendly...

    New Bull Market

the solid rock bottom, but that does not mean a new bull market has been born. We may need some time for that to happen, a few more months, a year or so. The investors need to get more confident that the economy is on the right track to get this bull moving. Still too early for that, IMO.

    tradestation, wealth-lab, something else?

Delphi Pascal that Wealth-Lab is based on will stand on its own for years to come thanks to Borland's Delphi reputation. Plus, if you ever decide to switch to Ensign, you will have to problem to do so as Ensing has a very similar language (a subset of Pascal).

What if some MM devotee posted his/her calls for ES. That's a universal trading vehicle used by many on this board. I would give MM a try after seeing how this stuff works in practice. I guess, I am open-minded enough...

    Larry Williams trading style

3 is much closer to the so-called reality than 100 that you alluded to before. And you know what? I have 2 accounts with IB for different systems, 3 altogether but 2 accounts is enough to handle them. I might soon have yet another account for discretionary trading. Three accounts is not so many...

    Larry Williams trading style

They 'all' (almost) say this and it should not be like that, I agree, but on the other hand, I don't know if you can still have the same impression after reading his books or watching his tapes. Plus, his stuff has a conditional money back guarantee and is only $200 which is not that bad by the...

    Larry Williams trading style

Geez, I hope Gallagher had MUCH more serious evidence to support his point than you... Well, thanks anyway, I thought I was the only paranoid on this board. Now, it's obvious to me that there are at least two of us :D.

    The Importance of Simplicity

Tell me about it... that's why I am now using TWS hotkeys and not the apps like Bracket Trader and Auto Trader.

    Larry Williams trading style

Someone once posted on this board (do a search for Larry Williams) not long ago that he attended Larry's seminar and indeed observed his trading. Apparently, the profits covered the seminar's cost and a nice dinner, as far as I recall it correctly.

How do you know he still adheres to that? People change and we all make mistakes. The point is to learn from them. Yes, his fund was not a major success, to put it mildly, but judging by his books he knows now much more about money management than you give him credit for.
