Burger King, Tim Hortons parent to buy Popeyes for $1.8 billion

I rarely eat fast food but decided to try one of the "Grand Mac's". Meh... It was OK but nothing special. I had to try one. :D

(best laptop 2017) EZ, Alienware, MSI

You really don't need to buy a gaming computer for trading. Trading screens are not graphics intensive nor does a data feed use much ram or cpu power. Due to my internet connection and other reasons I use Speedy trading servers for my trading. I have never had any issues using their "medium"...

Please help trying to buy a 1970 "mobile home"

I wouldn't even think about a 1970 model mobile home though. Even today's new mobile homes only have a useful life of 30 to 50 years and you are looking at one made 40 years ago. The use of aluminum wiring was common in mobile homes prior to 1971 and is dangerous.

Please help trying to buy a 1970 "mobile home"

Check on some real estate forums. I doubt that you will be successful in finding a lender on a 47 year old mobile home. IF you did find a lender it wouldn't shock me if they charged you credit card rates for a mortgage. Even if you managed to purchase it with a personal loan you wouldn't be able...

(best laptop 2017) EZ, Alienware, MSI

Don't have much advice regarding brand but take a look at B&H photo when looking for a place to buy. I recently upgraded my PC and bought everything from them. No sales tax and free shipping. Also they will ship the same day if ordered in the morning. Compare the prices; they usually beat...

Is watching Time and Sales useful at all?

In the example you posted there was nothing traded below 1480. This tells me that a trader or traders were adding to the bid limit orders. You would have seen that if you used Jigsaw's DOM or other software that tracks the limits. They were actively absorbing the sell market orders. Does it...

Is watching Time and Sales useful at all?

I call using the Time & Sales along with the Depth of market "order flow". Very useful for short term trading in the futures markets. The problem for most traders is it takes a long time to develop their ability to use the information. Personally I do not understand how people can trade short...

Selling Dell Precision Tower 7810 CTO Base ($3,300) and 6 Dell 30' U3014 monitors ($625 each)

I recently upgraded my computer and felt bad about spending 1600 dollars.:wtf: I bought a new motherboard, an intel 6800K I7 chip, 64gb of ram and a new 1GB m.2 SSD drive. I know I didn't need to spend what I did for trading but I enjoy a good game every once in a while. I will never use 64 gb...

Verizon is launching an 'unlimited' data plan for the first time in more than 5 years

Typical of Verizon. Their idea of "unlimited" is 10gb of 4G data and then unlimited 3G (maybe). I bet if you went over a set amount of 3G data you would end up on 2G.

A punk rocker's Edwardian in Noe Valley hits the market

As a Tennessean I have to point out that the "No income tax" is somewhat misleading. We have the "Hall tax" which taxes interest and dividend income at 6% over 1250 dollars per year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hall_income_tax There are no taxes on earned income or capital gains here though...

Trump Team preparing 1 Trillion cut to budget.........PER YEAR LMAO

Until the medical monopoly is destroyed and the medical industry is forced to follow anti-trust laws government spending will never be reduced. The government spend 1,172,500,000,000.00 on "Health care" every year. Sure 605 billion is medicare for the elderly but nearly as much (527 billion)...

What approach should one take when starting day trading?

 Why would you add "poor money management" as a given for this timeframe? Isn't poor money management a trader problem more so than a trading timeframe issue?

Trading on the road from a motorhome?

Yes it is "anywhere" but the latency is over 1000ms. Don't expect to trade intraday with it though.

    Thinkorswim Hidden Size Indicator

I don't trade equities myself but it seems as if you are using the wrong broker/data feed. As Mr. Morse points out there are brokers that provide level 2 data. I trade the 6E futures and even the level 2 data doesn't give you a complete picture. It is very helpful but not complete. A...

Trading on the road from a motorhome?

IF you are close to a tower. The problem is in some rural areas you will not get a good enough signal to maintain a useable signal for internet. Another useful thing about the wilson amp is it works for cell phones also. I get one bar on my cell phone at my house without the amp. Turn the amp on...

Trading on the road from a motorhome?

I have a 40gb plan with Sprint and my backup is a 5gb plan with AT&T. I connect to a VPS in Chicago for my trading (In case of complete failure of my internet). I use the internet for normal browsing, email and watch an hour or two of Netflix at night. I RARELY exceed 30GB per month unless there...

Trading on the road from a motorhome?

I use two 4G Lte modems, a cradlepoint router and a Wilson amp. As long as you are in an area where your cell phone can get at least one bar the wilson Amp will work and give you a pretty good connection. The Cradlepoint router allows for two LTE modems to be connected directly and you can also...

Human-Driven Global Warming Is Biggest Threat to Polar Bears, Report Says

What is a tax going to do? The money will just be pissed away by the government and enrich the crony "capitalists" with government ties. What we need to do is work on cleaner modes of transportation and home heating/cooling. Maybe throw in some birth control for overpopulated third world...
