The breakdown area 1422-4 on ES as well the gap area 1435-38 will be a good zone to short if we have some frenzy recovery.

In my experience yesterday at the time of the major selloff, TWS last version (rock solid), QT with TWS (also doing well), Tradestation (sucks!, the amount of data freezes this application, I had to close it and soon to open it at such wild time).

The TWS its giving me the classic "newe version available" message but when i check there is no new version available. Anyone else have this issue?

you're not thinking on the days when economic indicators are released at 8.30 am: *Employment data * retail sales * ppi and cpi * durable orders * personal income * gdp * initial claim every thursday With so many this kind of "guessing" is more like a 50/50 bet.

I think you don't understand how this work. You should be mentally flexible to be successful on this business. With that said, if some people is making $1000 with $1,000,000 BP and other $2000 doesn't mean anything. The system behind the money made is the key as well how defended is the...

anyway if the exchange goes down and you don't have any trade for one hour on the exchange, meanwhile the ES lost or gain, let's say 8 points (80 YM points) you'll be stopped out when the exchange went back, so, the best thing is to hedge anyway.
