It's perfectly legal for an MM or specialist to step in front of your bid. The rationale is the MM isn't competing with your order, they're just moving up the bid so the seller gets a "better price." You'll see it a lot in low volume stocks. :cool:

As an owner of both drives I agree on the recommendations (I'm especially partial to the IBM's), however I'm not so sure maker alone makes a difference as I've owned noisy drives from both makers too. Wish they had a "noise" rating for these things. :cool:
