Don Do you have a link to that story? Why does he have to pay money back to customers? Is this for people who bought his seminars? I've kind of followed this story, but I thought that he was vindicated in some way and didn't have to pay back his customers.

The con is software fees. It's $100 a month for their software (non refundable for a certain # of trades) plus you need a QCharts Basic or Intermediate subscription, which is another $80 or $100.

I've always been curious...does anyone know how much brokers have to pay when a trade is executed through them? Do they pay per share/per trade/both? And how much are ECN charges, really? All I know of for sure is that Real Tick (Townsend?) gets $3 per trade for each trade that is executed...

Does anyone use Redi Plus on multi monitors? Ever since their most recent upgrade, when I start the software, the windows all pop up on my first monitor and I have to move them manually to the correct monitors. Anyone know how to change the settings for this problem?

I moderate this particular forum. I have no idea why the name of the thread changed. My guess is that Baron changed it because he thought it was misleading to say that this software is the same as Real Tick. He's always been partial to that software as far as I can tell.

I just found out that you can get the entire ECN books for ARCA, ISLD and RDBK (Not sure whether other ECNs are in there) at http://www.tradearca.com/automm/arca_book.asp It's all in one montage, just like a level 2 book. Click on 'Java Version' in the middle right of the page.

If you go to their website and find the link to the seminar, they give the list of strategies they discuss. As far as I know, the strategies are pretty much the same one seminar to the next.
