I used very wide stops as well, but recently I have been able to improve my entries so my stops are more reasonable. Developing a simple signal/filter can make the difference. Another benefit is you don't have to average in as much.

My trading style is similar to yours; however, I learned the hard way, to draw a line in the sand, to determine when to stop countering price moves and go with them. Look to the daily chart for clues.

Is your setup based on MP/VP or price patterns?

I like to add "They" and "Bolter" to my list.

I respectfully disagree. Daily targets help me to manage stress, greed, and fear. I prefer to gradually increase size than trade for more points. I trade to live not live to trade. Just my 2 cents. :)

There is a lot of skepticism to go around and some of it is warranted. I heard a lot of weird rumors/reports during that long walk home from Manhattan to Brooklyn and some of it turned out to be true.

Less is more. 2 ES points and done for the day.

The type of charts I use may be an issue as well: Two are volume based, one is weighted (% SPX, % INDU, & % NDX), two are daily charts, and one is a minute based chart.
