Closed out the short from 760.75 at 748.00 (March). Looking forward to shorting the lower-mid 760's once more.

Added one more shorty equal size of the previous one in the overnight session at 760.75. Sorry about the delay as I wasn't around to post till just now. BE is at 742.25 on the futures.

Well, the only way to make your imagination become reality is to buy the March 850 calls and see what happens. I'll sell them to you for 50 cents just to give me some cushion. Deal or no deal? :)

If you're talking to me, that's a very high target in 6 days. Like you said, you don't read too much into it and you shouldn't. Since anything and everything is possible in this market as we're at the mercy of news, I wish you the best of luck getting it by next Friday :)

If I do nothing from now till then, yes, I will receive a margin call. While it is possible to hit 998 by the end of next week, the odds of it are quite remote. T-6 for OE day. :) The odds of touching 730 are much greater than 998 in 6 days, at least that's what I think.

82.75 points in 3 days (from Tuesday's low) is a nice thrust but happening too fast. I do hope we touch the 760's though before a nice plunge one more time. :)

My BE on all shorts is at 730.1666 (March) which I think is quite attainable by early next week, so I'm not concerned one bit because I'm moderately hedged. My BE with my hedge is at 744.86. How far are you from being stopped?

Let's hope you're right. I'm willing to wait till next Friday (OE day) to give your projections some margin for error if needs be, before they come to fruition. I've got enough staying power till 998 and will be adding every 25 or so points :)

Adding a shorty at 745.25 twice the previous size. Ouch! My A#$ is starting to hurt. :D

Satan is sitting at the top of the trading channel, holding his giant fork and stabbing the bulls every time they push it in the 730's. I don't blame him. His 666 only held for a few minutes, lol. That wasn't worth 13 years of wait was it?? :D

Chaotic and volatile. Just the way I like it. :D

Remember the commercial some 8 years ago for a brokerage firm showing a black guy playing martial arts and saying "I use options to hedge my portfolio" ? That's one of several ways I use to ease the "pain", hence, my user name. :) Put in other words, I'm not trading constantly a true 100/-100...

Ouch! The truth can hurt sometimes. But as you said, he deserves a blue ribbon for holding a 20% move for several months.

Adding one more equal short position at 715.25
