    Ivan's Trade Thread, part II

The all-knowing trendline! The 1st trade was negative for quite some time, but never got stopped. The 2nd trade was added, 1/2 size, after the downtrend was confirmed. I exited when price bounced off bottom support line. In hindsight, closing only one would have worked better, but... I think...

Interesting metaphor. Just like these charts, most women look better in hindsight. Hind sight. That's funny, too.

If the chart is so big that I have to use the scroll wheel to view it, then I just go to the "daily hottie" thread, instead.

That may have been me? I use a 6-7 hour stop. I place the trade, leave the house for 6-7 hours , the look again to see if it blew through my mental stop.:p

I'll start to worry if it breaks .8200 again. I didn't say "stop out", I said "worry".:(

China has been stockpiling huge amounts of steel and oil, among other commodities, apparently with no clear (to us) reason. When they stop, prices will be affected.

No offense taken. I'm hip to the Star Wars lingo. See, that's the problem with text versus voice. Without being able to hear tone or inflection, people misunderstand each other. I see kids that would rather text each other than talk, and I'm sure that offenses occur that were never meant...

Aussie employment numbers at 9:30, which prob. won't be enough for significant impact. I'm flat right now. I see a resistance line at approx .8114, so perhaps a limit short at around .8100. Patawan? Patawanker. Young? Appreciate that.:)

I don't know where it's going (AUD/USD). I really don't. If it doesn't break .8100, is it time to short again? May get good support around .7800. I closed a EUR/AUD short this morning for +110, so that's ok.

    Costs of addiction

I can't say when the dream happened, I was unconscious for several hours. I don't completely buy into the whole "after-life" thing either. But if it exists, apparently only my dog took the time to visit me!

Ford, Chevy or? What I saw today..

Ok, ok, I get it. My son got vanilla with hot fudge and m&m's. My wife got cake-batter something. I got nothing for myself, but filled up on their leftovers. 3 for 2 ice-cream. It was the f'n TOYOTA on the farm!!! Farmers in the US always seem to drive American? The writing is on the...

Ford, Chevy or? What I saw today..

I just came back from taking the family for ice-cream. The ice -cream store is on the side of a hill, an old farm. Across the road, on a working farm, were 3 men who were loading hay bales onto a trailer, pulled by a Toyota Tundra. If ever there were a practical lesson in economics....
