All the firms I mention offer direct access platforms. by the way I see Watley is on its way to getting delisted from Nasdaq. I noticed that they have lost 50% of their customers.

Yes IB is terrible ...... that is why 90% of the Elitetrader broker threads are related to it. Think about it.

It's a trading platform NOT a charting platform. You couldn't pay me to use the crappy charting that comes with most broker provided platforms.

Maybe clients should have take the CSC, Series 7, and computer programming classes as well. The whole idea that stuff like this should be a concern of regulators smacks of "big brother" paranoia. Funny how they didn't care when TD and the like had hour + delays on fills back in '98.

IB seems to be giving up on their application for Canada because of the roadblocks put up by the OSC and IDA. I don't imagine the road for Datek will be much better.

Yes I am very familiar with Real Tick and have used it in the past. Unfortunately it really hasn't progressed much since 1997. Oh well the point is moot if your not available in Canada. Thanks anyways.
