Germany unemployment rate is at 50 year highs... economy is not growing.. massive layoffs... I dont get how the Dax can be hitting multi year highs and outperforming the S&P. The only thing positive going on for the country right now is the weakining Euro... but even when Euro was strong Dax...

Nice analysis but one thing i learned about shorting stocks is that you need a near term catalyst.. u cant just short because u think stock is overvalued. Global recession or drop in oil prices does not cut it... u can make the same case for almost any oil stock. Oil sector is deep...

Basically the Euro is toast.. and its back to either dollars or gold.. and I bet many are buying both.. I personally would go back into Gold in favor of the dollar.
