Do you guys think we get another solid down day (down to maybe 5720-5750) before NQ returns to 5900? Daily is curving up and looks solid based on the candles, but it's still weak compared to before the massive drop on Friday, and the 4 hour looks like it might dip for a bit.

Yeah, several good trades, the larger ones being longs. I am a short term trader though so I won't bother with long term moves.

Yeah, I don't think the drop is valid anymore because of the new high. I was sure of it until then, even took the long up to the old high and got ready to reverse, but sadly no proof of it happening still. The last time I saw this reversal it completed in just 30 minutes, so there's still time...

Any /NQ pure technical traders? Curious to know what thoughts are for this morning, April 27, 2017. I predict the market will start up strong due to the 15, setting a new high (5563-5570), and then reverse hard late in the morning (9-10:30 AM), returning to ~5537 before the close.

Are you talking about stock trading? Do you mean like earnings reports days?

Agreed, it's the way I was taught and I have never paid any attention to volume whatsoever. As long as you're trading during normal hours, the volume being 1/2x or 2x normal shouldn't matter. Of course, I'm sure if you're trading massive size, it might begin to matter more in terms of slippage.
