Grant ... No, i dont. I havent used the others you listed. But, i have gone over some of the docs a bit. BT offers quite a bit in strategy building and visual testing for example. Tick charts only. They appear side by side with the DOM/trading grid. Very fast execution and rock solid...

I use QT and SC with IB data feed running together all the time. Never a problem here. Once in a while i will also use IB's charts. Not nearly as well featured as QT and SC. IMO QT is hard to beat with a 6 mo subscription. SC has a cool spreadsheet facility among other things. ... rj

The problem with the short interest data is that it's published only once per month. For many stks the data becomes stale after a couple of days - practically useless.

Not to worry. You dont need to wait till 10 min after the open to tell what's gonna happen. See, here's what ya do. Just ck out what BlueSreek has to say about direction, etc. He often does his analysis after 11pm the night before. When Blue is a bull go short and when he gets bearish go...

TB ... The IB commish for a 1000 sh is 5$. Commish would be 7$ at Scottrade at IB bundled rate. For 2000 sh trade IB fee would be 10$ and w/ST it would still be 7$. Depends on your trade behavior....doesnt it??? Fills should be superior at IB. ... rj

Ok, but watch out, though. The phrase "nearly no delay" will be the gotcha. For intra day traders this would probably be useless. If you are holding a stk and just want to watch it trade real time you can always bring up an ARCA book window for free now. ... rj
