Down for the day a couple of points.

Someone elsewhere was kind enough to remind me that AAPL's earnings is today after market close; don't know if that will be 4pm cash close, 4:15, or 4:30, or what (maybe some of you know?), but I am keeping it in mind in case I am holding a trade near the close.

lol I guess so BSAM... Would not say very good. The risk became too high after a while when the volatility increased so much last year at some point for me. It was like, enter a trade, due to whipping around, a 20 tick stop was not safe and would get taken out easily in, say, 5 seconds...

My beef with the market (if you want to call it that) is not that it goes one direction most of the time, but the WAY it moves one direction. It's like they sell at a place for the mere formality of it. There's no genuine selling interest really. Just let it move up, and then let it move...

How did you adapt at that time? Just buy, I take it?

Maybe the test of 04.50 earlier was enough, but a move up from here smells fishy without a retest of 05. A few minutes ago there was practically no interest (only 51 contracts sold) in selling below the IB high (06.75) though, so maybe there simply won't be any more down below this recent low...

Funny, you were buying as I was getting out of my long! Shows how different the perspective can be when one is already in, versus looking to get in.
