Lost money in sny, aipc. Picking up aipc was mistake, its too illiquid. SNY was another mistake, it only seldom moves significantly. Got a good trade in arg. Charts attached for reference.

yeah actually I sized up to my limits around 169, was squeezed out, later re-established at 166 but ahh that could have been a killing.

Was anyone trading GS premarket? it had very clear signs of big sell off around 170. Those freaks squeezed me out of shorts few minutes after open, missed a big trade :mad: :mad: :mad:

Okay, when I started trading lost 25% of my money(though I still had enough for margin requirements) and quit trading for about 8 months. Got back, lost about 10% and quit again for a year. Managing a living since entering the markets for third time.

you didnt get it. I have seen a lot of guys at my firm with 4+ yrs of exp. who have their down months but at the end of each year they've made considerable money. They are survivors who can make big anytime. edge is a more misused word on this forum than leverage :) edges change over time but...

a lot of difference b/w just making enough to support ur lifestyle and making consistent money. For the latter leverage can be used and makes a established professional.
