I dont think Quanto should be banned.. If the ignore button completely shuts down a user regardless of them signing in or not,all is well. Not that I am anything special, but I dont want to help obnoxious users who arent here to learn. Quanto blocked me,but would still respond to my posts..

Banned or not,hes still toxic.I genuinely tried help him,and he attacked me.The guy is a clown. I'm no expert in your blocking/ignore functions, but it appears a user can block/ignore another user, but if one logs out,he can read the blockers posts?? Ild rather not post in that case.... Why the Spread Beats the Long Call

A big part of trading is comfort level.I happen to be a "spreader", though I lean toward ratios My main point was the scenario analysis presented was narrow in scope, with the stock trading in a tight band. One could easily come up with a split strike fly and have a much nicer P and L table for...

Why the Spread Beats the Long Call

I quickly ran some 10 year backtests on SPY,comparing various option strategies with limited risk. No naked short puts,no risk reversals. Stuck to Naked call,Verts and Flys. The testing was down and dirty, didnt put much time into it.. As we know,a naked call costs more than a vert with the same...

Why the Spread Beats the Long Call

I see where you are going only if you plan on putting the trade on and holding till expiry. Other than that scenario,it doesn't make a ton of sense to compare a vert with a naked long call as they will have different deltas,as well as the obvious difference in cost of positions. I look at delta...

What Option Strategy Do You Use?

You arent alone.Long options really aren't about win rate..If win rate is high on the checklist, short premium or delta 1 is the way to go.

What is the max risk on a straddle???

Looks like you are long the synthetic, not sure why. Buy the Spy.. Sort of hard to believe you have an 83 % hit rate on verts and asking the questions you are.
