Here is some food for thought. What if you have a stock whose projection is that it is going to zero. Would or could that indicate a bottom?
Right now AMD is projected to go to zero.

If I am a counter trend trader than yes, my trading principles hurt me in the market today.
If I am a trend trader then NO, I followed my trading principles and was rewarded for doing so.
I call it the "hitting the lotto" mentality. Everyone is in a rush to become a millionaire. If you can just earn 25% a year you will be able to double your account every 3 years. If you can do this while you are young you will have plenty of money.
