Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

I'm also curious if anyone bought any UPS today. We discussed that it would be a buy at 74 with a failed double bottom sell signal and a new triple top. I've had my order in for a week, and wondered why it didn't trigger today. I had a stinking typo on my order and inadvertantly set the...

Here is some food for thought. What if you have a stock whose projection is that it is going to zero. Would or could that indicate a bottom? Right now AMD is projected to go to zero.

    Great Traders Have no Morals

The funny thing about it is I just posted weird as wierd in another thread, and said "that doesn't look right", and quickly changed it. Then I come here, and see wierd again.:D It made me go check the damn dictionary.

What I find weird is that no one knows how to spell WEIRD.

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

Here is an interesting graphic starting at the beginning of the bull trend. Every large vertical x column had a target that did get hit except for the last signal, and it still came pretty damn close.

Here is an ES projection based on the vertical count of the last pnf signal. It shows es will make it to 1020 sometime in this downtrend.

Well one thing is for sure. We are not going to see it get to that target on an intraday basis. Plus, this move has not retraced at all, so we are going to take a lot of heat. I find the pnf price projections work pretty well if based on a longer term chart(higher box size) from a...

    Great Traders Have no Morals

If I am a counter trend trader than yes, my trading principles hurt me in the market today. If I am a trend trader then NO, I followed my trading principles and was rewarded for doing so.

    Turning $822 into $210432 by July 18, 2008

I call it the "hitting the lotto" mentality. Everyone is in a rush to become a millionaire. If you can just earn 25% a year you will be able to double your account every 3 years. If you can do this while you are young you will have plenty of money.

I assume this borkerage account is the same account in which you started the 800-250,000 thread. If so, then this particular thread is over as well.

Learning to read Price Action with P&F Charting

There are methods for determining price objectives. I have not used them for intraday because I don't think they work, but I will post them anyway. Now Thomas Dorsey does it differently than most pnf'ers. He uses a different formula for shorts than he does for longs. He says this is...
