Spydertrader, My first dumb question. You show as your "hotlist" for 11/9: BOOM BTUI CKCM CMCO FORD GES GMXR KNDL NGPS PETS RNOW TIE VIVO VPHM I ran the screen on Stocktables but BOOM, BTUI, FORD did not appear in the list of results. What am I doing wrong? TIA, DS

Can't answer your specific question, but I'd suggest looking into dual wan routers. There is a thread or two here on them. They will take 2 internet connections and share them as well as switchover if one fails. Typical use is one cable and a dsl connection. DS

IMO- a little inflation is a whole lot better than a little deflation. We are familar with the former; while hints of the latter tend to create a mild panic. DS

Could you elaborate: What I see is Geneses is at $0.01/share or $7/trade up to a 2000s limit and IB is at $0.005/share with a 0.2% of the trade maximum fee. Genesis also charges a 200/month software fee. IB has a $0.003/s fee for certain order routings. To me this seems like IB has...

One issue is what version you need. As of now, only the latest version with SP1 will run using 3rd party data and it is not yet available to everyone as it is still being rolled out. I don't know how well it works as I tend to upgrade as late as possible so others can do the beta testing. And...

I've had it about 1 year and never had problems with TWS, but I only use the "Portfolio" page and a page of the stocks I trade. About the only trouble I recall having with IB were either self inflicted or short data feed losses. DS
