What are those pink pt3 formations? I think the answer lies there.

Here's another AHA! that fell through the cracks (meaning I missed it). Chart.

1120 eob to 1220/25 eob. A bar that represents Lateral Movement based on it's close = bar that moves laterally because it's still within the boundaries of the annotated Lateral Movement (or formation). Both can't be valid point 3's ( or an FTT for that matter) despite their increased dominant...

Thank you. P.S. Point 3 of the green up channel - Lateral Movement BO, previous bars with increasing black volume are inside the boundaries. Damn, I was not paying attention to that!

It appears to be the case. An excellent advice indeed, thank you. Got it, definitely a first thing on my list now. P.S. A quick question re: Lateral Movement annotation. Specifically those cases of Lateral Movement which did not start of as a pennant or two bars with equal highs and...

This type of post is actually extremely helpful. On unrelated note: 1540 YM eob shows increased black volume with price closing outside of boundaries of the previous bar. 1540 ES eob shows change. YM and ES show conflict and YM always wins by default:) . Can anybody help me out with what I am...

:) 12:47:53 just as YM positively turned IRV +PRV showing R\/R. Cool staff. Thanks cnms2!

Thank you for the chart. 1130 eob (inside bar) shows increasing black. It is possible to draw a channel using 1115 eob as pt1, 1120 eob as pt2 and 1130 eob as pt3. Would annotating this pt3 formation be correct? You saw it as a traverse in a pt3 pink down channel. EDIT: got it - 1125 eob...

:) I suspect you're referring to a rather large, gaussian peak R/\B which corresponds to the lateral channel.

Thank you for the chart. Those large scale lateral channels tend to confuse the hell out of me, when they appear from time to time (with equal highs/or lows). Seeing that one can annotate them as a pt3 formation is a nice breakthrough for me.

Because ES gave me permission to do so, therefore I have to and I must. If YM shows change first, which then materializes on ES, doesn't it make sense to watch YM for signals of change any time ES gives you permission to do that?

ES 1135 eob LM DRV = change? Not so fast! YM 1134 eob IRV = continuation. ES continues lower. ES 1140 eob LM DRV = change? Not so fast! YM 1138 eob IRV = continuation. ES continues lower. ES 1150 eob IBGS DRV = change. Not so fast! YM 1148 eob IRV = continuation. ES continues lower. ES 1155...
