Well, if you are looking for advice, you haven't given info about your financial/personal situation. Dependents? Monthly fixed expenses? What instruments you trade? Work experience? Age? Education? And most importantly, if you resumed trading, why would this time be different?

As an experiment, try using seconds instead of minutes. ie., 60s instead of 1 minute. This has helped me in the past, but I have not had any noticeable problem with minute charts lately.

I can buy 1 ES contract with $500 in margin, and $1.71 in fees and commish. That 1 ES contract is the equivalent of 500 SPY. To buy 500 SPY would cost roughly $70,000. Thus giving me 120:1 in leverage. Plus, the spread is only 1 tick. So, I should be envious of you because?
