    Smacking the ER2

it is the size of positions a person trades and the liquidity that give the nod to the es for some traders over the er2. if the er2 liquidity were to grow substantially then you would see more traders move over --- and then it would go flat like the es --- LOL! :)

Friday: Bang! Zoom! To the moon Alice.

oil refining disruption and then HIGHER costs of oil/gasoline products ONLY need to be temporary to affect consumer confidence/CPI/PPI numbers. this will cause the perception {and/or reality} that the economy is in a worse situation --- when this happens you have the type of sentiment shifts...

Friday: Bang! Zoom! To the moon Alice.

any impact to the houston area oil refining infrastructure is not a "localized" event --- any disruption in the U.S. oil refining capability at this point keeps oil/gas prices high and that costs the entire U.S. economy. the CPI/PPI uptrend will be maintained by these type of additional oil...

Friday: Bang! Zoom! To the moon Alice.

Rita last satellite imagery loop shows turn to the west --- not good for Houston --- not good for the economy. Oil market tomorrow should be watched very closely as any big moves there will have the markets attention. now remember, the more news related trading affecting the market means...

    Midnight rally

because it keeps working --- shorting the pops since the sentiment shift after the 12th of September, the oil price has held mid 60's or above, and the Fed announcement confirmed the inflation worries. in addition to this we have a new storm that has not hit yet and there is boatloads of...

Was the FED right in raising rates ? that is the question

mahram the fed raised because they have been in a "rate increase" environment {and nothing had changed that} and INFLATION worries -- the government has always been pissing away money by spending, that was not their reason for raising an additional .25 --- come on now. :)

    Back in Black

the main reason i am looking at 1208 is that was the "Z" contract low of 08/30/05 {yes 08/29/05 had a lower low but that was a event related low}. now 1200 is just a psychological level so that would be tested if 1208 was broken in my opinion --- so yes there is plenty of additional downside...
