Note you can't get the data on the weekends....they shut off midnight NY time on Friday night and they're back on midday Sunday (I think noon NY time but I'm not sure).

Liquidity is greatest during the side by side pit trading hours. After the pit closes volume drops off significantly, but not completely.

I don't use them on intraday charts (or on any other charts currently). Tradestation has the ability to do PnF charts on any timeframe. SSB

I ended up hedging my ZG with GC on NYMEX/COMEX (via GLOBEX). How does CBOT ever expect to keep the market share on ZG with fiascos like this going on???

IB replied to my ticket saying to look for them on Jan 12.

I think it usually takes them a few days....but I don't see that pestering them hurts the process :) Until IB gets them working I doubt there will be much volume anyway. Tradestation can't even give an answer as to whether they'll support them...

The one with the most volume is the one I use.

You can get it for about $100 used on Amazon. Or $120 if you join some B&N club or something. Why not search inside the book at amazon to see if you think it's worth getting?

There is a slight difference -- with a simulated stop the order does not reside at the exchange -- so if IB lost connectivity to GLOBEX your order would not fill. Also, you get put into the queue when your stop trigger hits, so anyone already there will get executed first, possibly at a better...
