Would the simplest solution not be to stop calling it the "Programming" forum - which it clearly isn't - and call it the "Modulus Support Board" or some other more accurate descriptive? That would reset expectations for everyone, and lessen the chance of misunderstandings in the future...

As far as I can tell, I've been banned from the Programming forum by that forum's sponsor, some outfit called "Modulus". This was after I objected to Modulus treating another ET poster poorly, and Modulus deleting some of their own posts in what I can only imagine was an attempt to look less...

You're not going to get an "official" link until the "official" announcement. Doesn't mean we dont already know it has a Retina Display, faster processor, faster GPU, and is almost identical in size and shape to the iPad2. Even iOS 6 is now out in the wild.
