My FEDEX envelope was left on my open uncovered front porch without me signing for it. I was lucky to find it on the day it was delivered as I some times do not go out on my front porch for days. The envelope is waterproof which kept my token from getting wet from the rain.

Following up on my previous post: The Platinum version of the security token was unavailable for only one day. I ordered one and received it the next day. It is a bit slow but I am sure it will perform the intended function. Now I wish all of my brokers would offer this device. Catoosa

As of today,The "Platinum Security Token" is not being offered as an option on IB's web site. I sure hope IB is only temporarily out of stock os the Platinum Tokens.

I just now tried to apply for the IB security token and found the "Golden Token" as the only option. Last night I had the option of the Golden or Platinum Token. I hope IB will again offer the platinum token which is larger and has the logical telephone dial pad layout. For now I will wait.

Jack, do the batteries look to be user replaceable? If so, I would hope any onboard memory would be retained long enough for a battery swap. Catoosa

TWS chart not working here.

I have not had any such problems with ameritrade. My experience is some cheap ISP is the most likely one to sell out their clients profile and e-mail addresses.

If this separate trading machine is connected to your home LAN with other machines that are used for browsing and e-mail, does that compromise the trading machine?

I have in the past wondered why ET did not add Ameritrade (TD Ameritrade) to the list. Maybe a commission of $9.99 ($5.00 for IZone) per trade does not fall within the guidelines ET set for the ET list of online brokers?

I agree with "def" on this issue. I prefer to keep the expenses down provided the best features in account security and trading access are kept up to date. IB and IB's customers need to both do their part. Catoosa
