Multi monitor rack for 28+ inch screens

No it is a custom full mount, not an articulating arm. He builds it to fit your screens, etc. At the point you are spending more for the rack however, I feel like I am missing something. Yea I am just going to get 5 wall mountable arms. for 200-300.

Yea I found someone who will do it 'custom'. But it is north of 5k, so I think Ill just have to go with 5 or 6 wall arms.

I am not really an OMFG bottles kind of guy. Honestly if you ask me whether I would rather trade or party that day, it would ALWAYS be the former. I don't want to trade because of the money. It is hard to tell you why other than it just feel natural for me. I can trade from open to close...

JamesBond007, Thanks for the info. I am not excluding programs because they are full time; I have just recently started to entertain the idea of trading while going to school on the nights and weekends. What platform do you use to trade asian markets, and do you see techs and price support...

bone, Thanks for chiming in. I am particularly interested in U of Chicago evening school. To me it almost seems like if you KNOW you want to trade, then the evening program that allows you to trade during market hours would have a greater net benefit than a full time MBA/grad program. I...

MWycliff, Thanks for responding. My military experience was as a enlisted Marine. I was a platoon Sergeant, but that is overseeing a shop of 15, not a Company or Battalion. I got out in 08 and finish my undergrads in 2012. The more I have learned about the market, the more I have...

WS_MJH, Thanks for the help! You have some great points. I am getting the notion that 'prop shops' aren't loved by all. I hear very contrasting stories on the quality of their training versus investment firms/BB. I have talked to people at SMB and JSC in NY and they said they would...

newwurldmn, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I really like the city of Chicago. Seems like you could live a lot better there than in NY while starting up. I think I need to delete my performance on my post as it is irrelevant because of the size of line I have: 'just' enough for to have...

tomdavis, Great point. I couldn't standing thinking 'what if' if I hadn't applied to the top schools for my grads, but I also need to have a good contingency, and I want to be at a place that I can identify with other aspiring traders, build a good trading team for competitions, and hone my...

WS_MJH, I am not sure I want to trade for a Hedge Fund or not. I have interned at two mutual funds as an analyst, one that is #1 in its Morningstar peer group, and really enjoyed the experience, however once I started day trading, it was Nirvana. I think prop trading is really where I...

Maverick, Thanks so much for the info. This looks like a really good program, I have heard of their energy trading competition. I didn't know, however that they had trading classes. That is the first I heard of actual trading classes in a US grad program. Are you an alum? Would...

WS MJH, Thanks for the info! I am finishing my last year of undergrads currently and schedule all my classes at night, so I can trade during the market hours. I have a lot to learn, but since I started in Jan I am up 172%. I am starting to study for level 1. I was orginally thinking of...

college trader, Thanks for the input. That is one I am considering. Are you an alum there? I am decently competitive, 3.5gpa/710 GMAT from a state school, but not sure if I could get admit at an ivy. My time in the Marines and owning my own cigar company has is a decent story, but I...

toc, Haha I understand that, and assume accomplished traders would have a better perspective than say those at badtrading.com. If I am training for a race, I am much more inclined to ask the guys who are running races rather than those that are contemplating running a race. That being...

First off: -The GI Bill pays me to go to grad school -Most schools I am cashflow positive 20-40k over 2 years -I will ONLY consider a career prop trading -I am not looking for a quant/MFE program, I am doing 200-300% a year pattern trading I am not sure the regular suspects Wharton...

Any laptops w/ battery that lasts an entire trading session?

I bought my Asus laptop just for this. It has an advertised battery life of 11.5 hours, but I have never gotten that before. I can get 8-9 hours while actively trading with the screen brightness cranked down. Plus the wood trim is pretty nifty...
