2 scalps today. One @ 1265 the other 1262. Total of 9 points. Still have the overnite and will look to add above 1275+ area. For anyone that hasn't tried experimenting with positional trading I will say it is much more relaxing and cost effective. Risk management skills have to be in order...

wow, that high. If that retest fails @ 1300, I would presume is where you believe the prolonged sell off would begin. Maybe look to add to the short side.

Short @ 1250. Going to hold this overnite and roll it over into the Septembter contract. They got exactly to the 200 day moving average. Action around this will be the key. B1S2, your postional trading is truly spectacular.

Almost a carbon copy of yesterday. Shorted near the main pivot 1230.75. Then shorted the open 1226.25. Last cover 1220. I'm done for today unless I see a bullish reversal, in which case I will go long @ the lows and hold overnite.

Romik keep up the great scalping man! I still scalp a lot. but I've incorporated longer time frames to take the pressure off of the daily grind. This is going to be a good summer!!

I'm ready to go long here on general principle alone. This is temporarily extremely oversold. But I guess we need to wait unitl that cpi # comes out tommorrow. I would think they at least would try to test the 200 day @ some point this month.

Triple 1974's. maybe thats some sort of karmic thing :D Keep up the good trading guys!! Brutus I agree, I've kept my system in place even with the increased range. I never short a gap down, Never. That is a rule I have no matter what. Patience with a combination of everyone waiting for...

Covered my last short 1229.50. Mucho props to B1S2!! This guy predicted a 1325 top on the SP a full 3 months before it happened!! Obviously this guy is on top of the game. Thank you very much for helping me and others open up to longer time frames, it has helped me from getting chopped out...

Faded Gap up, still holding but may cover soon unless I see another break down brewing. This will be the only trade today because the rest of the week should provide some good action.

Had business to take care of today. I faded the gap up open as per usual. I enjoy that one too much I think! Had to leave so I put sell order in @ the 200 day moving average with a 4 point target fill. In my second account I put a buy order 3 points below the open with a 2 point target...

Yes that was last Friday when they retreated from the 50 day. Spy was @ 129.43 and the 50 day was @ 129.63. I was hanging onto a 1292 short pre-market when they rolled that over. Had they gone thru that 50 day I was prepared for a run to 1300+. It never happened :D

The ulitmate sign of Bullishness would have been to close @ or above the 200 day moving average. Towards the end there we were above the 200 day and finished with some strong selling to finish below. Hope you guys nailed this today, phenmonal volatility continues. The 200 day mv is now...

Another Steak meal extra well done!! Didnt trade yesterday because of the huge run down Monday. I've tended to get over anxious after big down days. Today my resistance was @ the Jan and May monthly closes Spy (127.50). For me this was double resistance today. Price action was my entry...
