IB Connectivity Has Been Rock Solid Lately

And that's saying a lot, given that I'm usually one of the first to b!tch and moan when it goes down. Well done IB.

TrackTrade Vs IB: Could've saved 27%

But I'm seriously considering switching for equities. Does anyone here have experience trading stocks on TrackTrade's platform? Is it god-awful?

TrackTrade Vs IB: Could've saved 27%

And you will see that my post was in reply to someone who stated that TTrade charges ECN fees, and as far as I can tell, they do not.

TrackTrade Vs IB: Could've saved 27%

TTrade equities are much cheaper, and there are no ECN fees to pay. But it doesn't look like anyone from IB has jumped ship yet, & I think that's pretty telling, given the huge savings that could potentially be had (as I said, I would've saved 27% on commissions in December alone)... Looks...

TrackTrade Vs IB: Could've saved 27%

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24592&perpage=6&pagenumber=2 I'm looking for the opinions of any former IB users who now trade with TrackTrade....

TrackTrade Vs IB: Could've saved 27%

Is anyone here using TrackTrade? I just went through my December IB account statement to see how much I would've saved, and I calculated that had I used TrackTrade I would've saved 27% on commissions.... But how are the fills and reliability at TrackTrade? IB had some reliability issues a...

I don't believe a thing you've said on this entire thread.... But if what you say is true, someone here better call Shady Meadows Insane Asylum & get them to turn off the computers before you lose everything.....

    Spooky IB: TMBR giving fills

I trade all sorts of stocks, short and long, but I've never had success intra-daytrading stocks when I'm being filled by TMBR. No matter how many times I've taken a shot, long or short, on stocks where TMBR is giving me fills, I haven't made money, not once. Don't know if its a coincidence...

No OTCBB with IB. Why not?

IB closed out the position over the phone, in a matter of minutes? Or was there some complicated procedure (paperwork) etc that you went through? Thanks!

No OTCBB with IB. Why not?

This IS NOT a complaint, as I don't dabble & will probably never dabble in OTCBB stocks. I'm just wondering what keeps IB from offering OTCBB trading... Mainly I'm wondering what would happen if I owned shares of a Nasdaq company who was then delisted to the OTCBB (how would this be...

Logging into IB on public PCs

I had a nice vision phone, the fastest one according to the Sprint Junkies I found through google, and it was an absolute nightmare trying to trade with the connection (I use IB)....I only used it to swing-trade, as daytrading is completely out-of-the-question using laptop cards or cell phones...

    I'm 75% short, $100K

And I'm willing to lose $3510. Traders can trade this market seven ways till sunday so long as they are disciplined! If the market puts in a discernable top here, I will feel like I have a system with which I can make money, but if not, $3510 is a small price to pay....I mean, most of you...

    I'm 75% short, $100K

I do believe that it will be quite some time before the Nasdaq sees these marks again. Short 2600 QQQs at $38.15

    I'm 75% short, $100K

I'm going stop out at $39.50 on the QQQs (I'm short 2600).... It's hard to believe no one else is taking money off the table here, much less going short.

    I'm 75% short, $100K

I've positioned myself 75% short the Nasdaq. I believe today/Monday marks the top and I'm willing to bet the farm, which is exactly what I've done. January 9th, 2004

Bubble me once, Shame on Me

Bubble me Twice, Shame on us all... Is the market a house of cards or not? A lot of companies guided for high growth from Q3 to Q4, and I don't see why they won't guide for very nice continued growth from Q4 to Q1... But it's an absolute frenzy out there in stock land right now! The...

Who is CSE and why aren't they in TWS (IB)?

I see a market maker with the letters CSE in Level II, posting large size in several stocks, but this size never shows up in IB TWS...wondering why not? (Yes, CSE is at the best bid/ask, but nevertheless, their size still does not show in TWS: only in my level II quotes that I'm getting...
