On that trade you shorted right into R from the 15 min OR. This was allso the Open so double resistance. If you are thinking of going long there, wait for a BO of the open range first, and than buy the pull back.

Yes that was it. I did not take it either, as there were numbers coming out 10 am, minute before the BO. I took however the retest of neckline, which was allso PP. It has now broken nicely out of the triangle.

I would strongly recommend you paying attention to those higher timeframes, as an anchor chart. This makes it a LOT easier knowing when to let winners run, and maybe even more important, when NOT to put on a trade, even though it might look really nice on your entry chart. But than again...

What timeframe "trend" are you thinking off? If you zoom in enough on the timeframe, you will allways find a trend. What looks like chop-sui in a 10k vol chart, might trend nicely up and down in a 500 vol chart. What might be counter-trend trading in a daily chart, might be trend traiding in...
