You realize that now that the indexes are hitting highs for 09 a whole bunch of people are going to be piling on the "recovery trade". You short is about a year too late. My guess is stocks end the year flat. You might end up making some money on this trade but I think 780 is too optimistic...

I think you are right. They were BS bids. They happen to be right before a big overnight pump. Defiantly some kind of manipulation going on. If you look at the chart below you can see that the BS bids were at 8954, just before a massive overnight pump.

Im 19 and use TOS and am very happy. The software works great on my mac. I really like the ACH to move money around. Never had any problems whatsoever with my account and sleep sound with my money with them. When I turn 21 I'll defiantly open an account with IB, but I'm happy with TOS for now...

I was short 2 lots during the unemployment release and booked an $800 loss. I was expecting the unemployment number to be bad and it was but I guess traders were to busy buying to notice. Managed to claw my way back and had an excellent day. +1030
