Volume in Bloomberg and Yahoo finance is without pre and after hours volume, correct?

Somewhat strange that Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance choose one cut off (4 pm NY time) for price and another cut off (end of after hours trading) for volume.

Volume in Bloomberg and Yahoo finance is without pre and after hours volume, correct?

I think you are right and the answer from Bloomberg must be wrong. The normal trading hours volume for IMUX for 10/20/22 is 2,929,281 summed using IB's intraday volume (the graph). The volume figure in the Bloomberg terminal and Yahoo Finance is 11,943,500.

Volume in Bloomberg and Yahoo finance is without pre and after hours volume, correct?

I just asked Bloomberg (the terminal). Here is their answer: “Indeed, the volume figure when you use HP or draw volume data in excel is without pre and post hours volume.”

Volume in Bloomberg and Yahoo finance is without pre and after hours volume, correct?

For instance when you use the HP function in Bloomberg or draw volume data in Excel or just use the volume figure on Yahoo Finance, it does not include pre and after hours volume, correct? (I know you can draw pre and after hours volume figures in Bloomberg.)

Unfortunately I am taxed at a much higher rate on profit than the tax value of the deduction when I make a loss on FX. When the dollar moves up and down, I will therefore risk paying tax even though I do not earn anything. Yes, it would be better to move to another tax jurisdiction. The reason...

What is the most liquid 2-year European EUR denominated government bond

Thank you. I have never invested in bonds or bond futures, so I have very limited knowledge. When you invest in an equity index future, you pay the commission up front but not the contract value. Hence an indirect interest payment must be build into the price of the future, otherwise you can...

What is the most liquid 2-year European EUR denominated government bond

Thanks but as I wrote I want to park the money (for tax reasons) and do not want to roll over - hence no futures. I also assume you pay indirect interest on futures contracts. I want to earn interest, not pay interest.

Best Country for Trading (Tax efficiency)

The question I paid them address was whether the trading activity = a business, which then originated in Portugal because my brain and my fingers were located in Portugal and hence the income did not originate outside of Portugal and hence it would not enjoy the tax benefit.

Best Country for Trading (Tax efficiency)

I hired a law firm for an evaluation of whether the tax regime for new arrivals as you call it would apply to my trading. As expected I got no clear answer but they tilted towards the answer that I would not enjoy the benefits of that tax regime.

US sanctions hit Europe very hard

EU has the same sanctions. Most European countries are members of NATO and most Europeans are thankful for the US contribution to NATO and the US sanctions.

Irish withholding tax on interest income

Does it apply to interest on bonds issued in the US, Germany etc. or does it only apply to interest earned on deposits in Ireland and Irish bonds? (Yes I know it also depends on the tax treaties between countries.)
