    U.S. GDP

Lol you can't take China's numbers seriously, their gdp numbers from 2 months ago were impossible to achieve unless they were straight up trading with aliens.

Heads up - FB, APPL, AMZN, GOOGL - Earnings Thursday

I've been trying to buy a google pixel 4 for a few months in Canada, still sold out lol so I have some calls on goog. I typically don't have positions in goog in generally. I'm a long term AMZN holder, I don't need more exposure. I have light aapl calls, no news is good news. I have fb puts - I...

How do you open a large position as a day trader

I can't discuss my business relationships publicly and I don't feel comfortable asking your private trading details publicly either, since some trading firms don't accept certain EU countries that are sanctioned. Feel free to DM me.

How do you open a large position as a day trader

The point of dark pools is to have a private transaction, I don't know the ratio between day trades and long term trades within a dark pool - but looking back in history, yes, block trades were used as long term holds, I doubt that is the case now. How traders can use dark pools now is that its...

How do you open a large position as a day trader

The best way is to just trade with a professional trading firm that has access to more dark pools plus obtain direct market access with the ecn's of your choice plus you can customize routes to access more than one pool or ECN at a time. However, I'm surprised you have this issue with 10K shares...

Amazing Short Straddle Opportunity right now

Yeah exactly, I don't know why people think it's a good idea to suggest writing a call the day after awesome news lol which is why I was OK with writing a put in theory but not a call.

Amazing Short Straddle Opportunity right now

It could break $14+ in a month, I would probably just short the put from a technical/probability perspective, however I don't like having skin in the game in biotech, not my flavour.

Suggest good brokers offering futures/cfd indices with weekly cfd/futures options indices ?

Why do you want CFD's rather than direct market access? The difference is cheaper and real pricing vs CFD expensive and fake (internalized, firm market maker) pricing. Are you only looking for "option index CFD's" purely for the leverage? If buying power wasn't an issue would you still prefer...

Pair Trading by Ratio - what function/setting?

Pair trades are best used going long/short a stock and the opposite with it's corresponding index or at least two stocks in similar industries. If you get stopped out technically both positions should be closed. Same with hitting whatever target you have. The problem with the pair you indicated...

Daytrading: Do you prefer the closest, average, or highest resistance on breakout entries?

I wouldn't consider breakouts (or breakdowns) TA, since when one looks for entries in this strategy they are typically looking at (or either the result of) volume and price action correlations/divergences between the security and their corresponding pair; typically the index. You mentioned...

Daytrading: Do you prefer the closest, average, or highest resistance on breakout entries?

It depends on volatility and spread of the stock but in my experience due to trading mainly tech stocks, A) higher would be the definitive answer. When trading goog/amzn I need to be more preemptive and watch index correlation closely or else I'll be risking buying at a poor spread.

    Scalping is Risky?

You can lose money as fast as you want with any strategy ;). Scalping can be used as a main strategy or be used as a sub strategy. For example, my main strategy involves picking a stock long early on where I think it will end higher near mid or late in the day. I may do a few scalps while I...

I'm looking for a /ES mentor -and i'll give you half my profits for 2yrs.

I'm not in the US, sorry. You know what, SMB capital does online courses on options which they specialize in. Especially index options. You can look them up on youtube before checking out their paid courses and has a mentorship program since their free content is good for new traders. I...

I'm looking for a /ES mentor -and i'll give you half my profits for 2yrs.

You live in Texas man. Your first option and best option is to join a firm in your city. Have you checked out Kersher Trading, Quantlab? Alphashark could be of interest to you as they may teach index options. Good luck either way.
