How to risk more money? Problems with risking more

When you start working will you have time? Your risk tolerance is too low, not sure if you are day trading or swing trading but either way you need to open up your draw down or else you'll statistically lose out on large positive swings. Your account is probably a lot of cash most of the time...

Richard Dennis theory that anyone can learn to trade is flawed

They literally do compete with each other and it starts in school. People get churned out, give up. Some can't become doctors because they fail their residency. Some get fired from being doctors. Some people can't help themselves as much as they try. I've painted and made wood works under the...

WTF, closing out options now charges commissions?

Yeah they charge 25 cents for trading options with premiums under 5 cents iirc.

Richard Dennis theory that anyone can learn to trade is flawed

Yeah ok... not everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, hell not everyone could be a good farmer or electrician.

I use tradingview too, and i use chrome because each tab is receiving info individually not as a collective level vs other browsers which could cause lag/hangs/crashing.

Kamala wants a 0.2% transaction tax

2 trillion revenue based on what... current numbers, or after she killed liquidity? Every single fund and ETF would need to increase their fees... I think this demand is too ridiculous, lets be real on how politicians actually work. I'm sure she is just saying this to get (more?) back deal...

Trading stocks vs options. Which would you choose?

I can't go into detail but here is what I do: covered combination variable ratio write short strangle my preferences change depending on volatility, market cycle, and market news.

    Ideal specs for daytrading PC

I checked my SSD i got this year, M.2 type. There are comparisons on youtube vs that and standard ssd's. ram is really important, i had my 16gb keep capping out on a 4x multi monitor. i have 7 monitors now, 3x ultrawide screens, with 32 gb and ram goes slightly over 16gb cap sometimes but if i...

Trading stocks vs options. Which would you choose?

It favors those who can do math. Simply, if you want to buy a stock now/soon why not write an ITM put. If you want to sell a stock now/soon why not write an ITM call.

Obsession with trading and the markets. Does it get better or only worse?

Are professional athletes obsessive or passionate? Don't doubt your career choice and reward yourself better on the weekends. If you are stale doing boring shit then of course you'll look forward to trading.

    Ideal specs for daytrading PC

You want an i7 for multi monitor and 32gb of ram (4x8 is passable so you can raid your current pc) and the newer generation of ssd (forget what it's called). Also go with ultra wides (32-49 or whatever you need) so you don't require as much video cards/slots which may reduce performance and...

Meditation: Does it Help Your Trading?

Yeah meditation is good for your overall life not just trading. However, I prefer to astral project directly into the level 2 quotes in order to find future price direction.

I feel like fundamental analysis is completely useless

Fundamental analysis matters more the longer you plan to hold a security. It also matters more in certain sectors such as reits, mining, low margin businesses... Nothing wrong with being shortsighted in trades, that's your style and somewhat mine too, but it isn't useless.

    Add the losers

I do it constantly, best way to average into bottoms to get the most of out a swing. Adding to breakouts is a standard consideration, nothing wrong with adding to winners. Naysayers simply don't have the buying power to handle temporary losses and/or refuse to look into options to offset the...

All Prop Firms, in 2020 are just scams?

You can't compare the firms you are describing to legit prop firms. I can tell that you are not familiar with these firms by your arrogance and ignorance. To your "impossible" statement that a prop firm can give better commissions than a broker... We are talking about 3-6MS DMA paying fractions...

    Roadmap to (day) trading success

SMB has probably some of the best free trading content on youtube. Their education is probably 'fair priced' compared to many fake gurus who charge $500-$2000 for basic level trading techniques which are mostly outdated.
