An update for anyone that cares.. IB finally relented and deposited the money to my account. 3 weeks and a lot of stress later, but I'm happy :) Thanks to the people who came up with useful advice and showed some empathy. And a big fuck you very much to the predictable assholes, I hope...

Just a lttle update. IB say my Mothers bank needs to recall the money. My Mothers bank says they can't recall the money, and IB need to just send it back. Awesome, IB is basically holding thousands of my dollars and refusing to credit it to my account or send it back where it came from...

LOL.. He's a villian because the longer he babbles the longer I can't put any trades on. STFU already..

Probably because their customer service is pathetic. Unhelpful to the point where they act like they really couldn't give a damn about your problems. Though if you're lucky enough to never need to speak to them they're a great broker.

I hope so. But I beg to differ, I have made deposits to my IB account a few times from bank accounts other than my own. I have always messaged them before the deposit hits to let them know where it is coming from. That's not the problem here, the problem is the anal prats won't deposit it...

Lol.. Been there before. I find spending a day or 2 trading my Sim account with discipline gets my confidence back, only big losing days I have had are when I've lost discipline and gambled.
