    Weinstein Trading and Fading

Finally, a name and face to represent all those option writers who got little pieces of my account, years ago before I respected TIME DECAY. Talk about an edge.

........ and it is filling the gap, as expected. My "system" didn't clue me off to these outcomes, it was raw uninhibited subconscious intuition gained from experience and The Infinite Source.

    Catching Tails

Slept in a little today to find The Market blew thru the bear flag and the C wave is on. B wave breakout on the hourly chart. :) My spidey senses are not picking up a decisive entry point yet because of the gap up on all the inverse etfs. I'd need a 5% stop to get in here and that tames the...

    Is trading easy or hard?

It's actually very easy when things are going well. When they're not, you cut losses and sit out. So many blowouts could be avoided by sitting out when things aren't going well. Sticking to plan, controlling risk and quitting when The Market is not appreciating your service to it.

High conviction trades: can be awesome or devastating

And you can make any normal trade a Konviction trade by pyramiding in capital as you tighten your stop, provided the price moves favorably. The result: huge position size while maintaining the initial (tiny) risk.........

Successful Trading and Compounding - On Steroids

When I've given up thinking about how much money I could make by trading, rather how I will protect my capital, I've made the best trades. My worst have happened when trying to force a trade when the setup wasn't there, saying "let's try an experiment" as I removed my stops and went all in with...

Taking 1million to zero in "n" months.

I don't predict what will happen, I predict that if it happens, it will reward me at a multiple at least 3x the amount that would lose if the desired case does not work out. I also predict that I will not allow The Market to take more than 5% of my account in a week. I also predict that...

    2012: The Battle for Survival

My original point is as valid here as in your journal: success in any speculative venture is all about the risk:reward ratio and the bet size. If the trader can't size up the likely minimum R multiple for every trade, it's guessing. You are either the player or the game. You create the...

    Perfect Wave - 2012-1/2

So we all anticipate the SP500 coming down from the bear flag. This consensus makes me nervous... traders rarely agree!
