. . . and wouldn't you know, less than five minutes after placing the stop, price went straight down to 14.20 (yes one cent above my stop), paused, and straight back up to 14.32. Checked my account and I was filled @ 14.19. Now I see why daytraders don't use stops, it's like showing everyone...

Position is launching nicely. Stop raised to 14.19 for break even.

It's modest but it's ahead of Price Physics for the month.

..... And the daily chart. BAC shot thru the 50 SMA and lingered, as well. This is a creative situation because there is not an obvious swing low to place the stop, after the breakout. I'm contemplating various scaling in tactics. It's all for the sake of keeping risk below 5% while...

Maybe I should just deposit all my money with a reputable manager instead. One who has a more advanced algo than I do.

This sentence hits me right in the nadz....... I have reviewed my past account blowups and it was always lack of discipline that did it. I had a method with positive expectancy and the test results to prove it, but The Market kept faking me out. It was always after a string of small losses...

That looks very logical. Chop like this makes me so angry some days! Perhaps I can see a hypnotist to get me to stop trading during corrective waves. They are unpredictable.

I've seen this secret posted elsewhere and never go around to back testing it. But it does seem logical that good trades show you a profit immediately.
