i guess we are talking about his trading style, not our individual trading style. i have seen he took big heat and got big amazing gain in past, that's the scope i discussed here and that's the reason i called him a maestro.

for an experienced trader, you can always get early warning sign from either chart or your strategy system for big move. easy to be solved.

we are talking about personal account, not institutional account. lets assume he has a 100k account, 1 lot position with 100 tick against him, with 10 lots average down at major reversal point, he might only take 2k max unrealized loss before he can exit with good profit. that's nothing for him...

it only works if you have large account, and average only at major reversal point. forget it if you have tiny account.

because he is a maestro to take big heat for big price movement, any position can be handled well with good profit by applying appropriate strategy based on the position.

due to limited range of CL, this position can be averaged down with 10 more contracts for a 10+ tick exit with profit.

seems to be true. with 1 lot in most time, i could get almost same result while maintaining a win rate at 100% since trading CL. no single losing trade so far from trading CL. today's result is just not too bad.

agreed. whether the target can be reached or not is unpredictable by nature, so your approach is probably best if all those prediction is based on pattern. having better comfort is always good for health. i noticed my blood pressure goes higher than normal if i hold my position longer to exit at...

it's pretty impressive to achieve this for the nature of pattern playing, as all pattern fails sometime. congrats!

it could be compensated by multiple trades in this risk free area :)
